About Rev Sharon
Since then, it has been my great honor and joy to officiate at many ceremonies and sacred events.
On a personal note, my husband and I are blessed with a warm loving family. To add to our joy are our pets, a rescued Golden Retriever, several rescued cats and assorted fish. Our little farm is thriving; goats, a tiny flock of Shetland sheep, Nigerain dwarf goats, alpacas, chickens, and a few stray cats complete our menagerie. The neighborhood wildlife know that our home is a good place to find a snack, so we have lots of feathered and furry visitors.
I have an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, and a Certificate in Gerontology, both from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. I am a Reiki Master Level Teacher and Practitioner. Knowledge is power and joy, so I am usually enrolled in classes to broaden my understanding. Currently, I am involved with the Kalamazoo K2 Knitting Guild, and the Master Gardener Association.
In my spare time, I love to spin wool from my sheep and alpacas into yarn, to knit and crochet into “warm wear” for the cold winter months. Working in the organic garden, crafting soaps and lotions, creating scrap books, creating counted cross stitch samplers and sewing quilts are meditative and enjoyable for me. There is always a project to work on!
My husband, children and grandchildren have taught me so much about loving, living and being with the Divine. Seeing the world through the eyes of a child opens my eyes daily to the miracles of our world.
